Ionix Service Manager accepted into Australian Technology Showcase

Ionix Service Manager, Australian-based developer of web-based service management software, has been accepted into the Australian Technology Showcase (ATS).

The ATS is an initiative of various State Governments, the Federal Government and private sector organizations. The program is designed to showcase and promote leading-edge technologies that have been recognized as having outstanding export potential in the international market.

Ionix Service Manager has been selected for inclusion in the ATS by an expert panel drawn from the NSW Innovation Council, based on its innovations in web-based technologies, and export success to date.

Ionix Service Manager develops the Ionix Service Manager 100% web-based software application, designed for automating ITIL based Service Management processes - Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Service Level and Release Management - in corporations that require an enterprise-wide solution.

Ionix Service Manager's early investment in developing a web-based architecture anticipated the growing requirement for enterprise level organisations to streamline processes and minimise costs by centralising their IT services and support. The Ionix Service Manager technology enables the rolling out of comprehensive service management processes entirely across the web, from a centralised single server and database.

On a functional level, Ionix Service Manager is ideally positioned to capitalise on the international and cross-industry uptake of the ITIL (IT Ionix Service Managerstructure Library) best practice service management standards.

"Acceptance into the Australian Technology Showcase provides the opportunity for Ionix Service Manager to build on its outstanding success to date in international markets, and to take the technology to an even wider audience," said Martin Curtis, Ionix Service Manager Business Development Manager.
